Firenze, Edifir 2016, cm.22x22, pp.284, num.figg.bn.nt. brossura cop.fig.a col. Giuseppe Giorgio Gori è stato uno dei Maestri indiscussi della prima generazione dei progettisti di Scuola Fiorentina. Al suo lavoro si deve la revisione e l'evoluzione di ogni possibile gestualità che l'eredità michelucciana sui temi della variabilità poteva lasciare nelle derive di Scuola Fiorentina. Il suo pensiero e la sua opera, infatti, subito la mitigano attraverso l'immissione nel progetto di una dimensione certa, intelligibile, trasmissibile, quindi, scientifica, capace di riportare all'interno del suo spessore teorico e operativo anche la dimensione del procedimento. Grazie all'opera di Gori, potremmo dire che in base a queste caratteristiche si riporta la progettualità fiorentina al ruolo prezioso di "sistema", legandola maggiormente alla tradizione rinascimentale fatta di misura, ritmo, prospettiva, piuttosto che alla casualità e alla libertà tipica dell'epoca medievale. Quindi, per Gori, è molto più importante il transito compiuto per arrivare a quella che è per lui solo una tra le infinite soluzioni possibili e non la soluzione; una soluzione comunque variabile, rivedibile, superabile ed evolvibile in un processo inesauribile di ricerca continua. Quindi un progetto che mai si conclude, ma che si muove nell'infinita consistenza ed essenza della realtà.

L'opera è completa ma assente delle legature volumi , le cuciture risultano salde. Il testo non presenta mancanze. Alla sguardia del primo volume ampia parte di appunto manoscritto coevo probabilmente.
