Abstract: I contributi qui raccolti si pongono come celebrazione massima, a Firenze, delle manifestazioni tenute in Europa per il duecentocinquantesimo anniversario della nascita di Cherubini e spaziano dalle composizioni sacre, al teatro e alla musica da camera. Svoltosi al Conservatorio «Luigi Cherubini» – costituito a Firenze nel 1860 – il Convegno ha riunito studiosi di fama internazionale come Giovanni Carli Ballola e Danièle Pistone e giovani ma già affermati ricercatori come Christine Siegert e Lorenzo Mattei. / These contributions, ranging from sacred compositions to theatre and chamber music, were presented in Florence during the most important of the events held throughout Europe for the 250th anniversary of Cherubini’s birth. The conference took place at the Academy «Luigi Cherubini» – founded in Florence in 1860 – and was attended by world-famous scholars like Giovanni Carli Ballola and Daniele Pistone, as well as young but well-known researchers like Christine Siegert and Lorenzo Mattei.
