The end of the Restoration and the aftermath of the Revolution of 1830 bequeathed to France a broken society. In the debate on the possible factors of civil rebirth, journals and encyclopaedias assumed a major role as vehicles for disseminating knowledge and promoting the growth of democracy. Walter Tega analyzes in this essay the point of view of the leading intellectuals of the age, on the relationship between science and politics.

#341716 Storia Antica
Stuttgart, Kohlhammer Verlag 1990, cm.11,5x18, pp.237, brossura. Testo in tedesco. Etwa um die Mitte des 5. Jahrhunderts v.
