Abstract: Accanto all’Explication familiere de la theologie eucharistique (1673) di dom Desgabets, frutto maturo di una intensa stagione di dibattiti, viene qui pubblicata la Renovatio antiqui SS. Eucharistiae explicandae modi, composta da dom Antoine Le Gallois nel 1670, eloquente testimone dei lavori eruditi che alimentarono il progetto di una teologia benedettina. Seguono due sezioni di Lettere e documenti (1664-1674) a cui è affidato il compito di illuminare il contesto cartesiano ed erudito in cui maturarono queste due opere. / Dom Desgabets’ Explication familiere de la theologie eucharistique (1673), the fruit of an intense season of debates, and Dom Antoine Le Gallois’ Renovatio antiqui SS. Eucharistiae explicandae modi (1670), a significant document of the scholarly works that nurtured the project of a Benedictine theology, are here gathered. There follow two sections of Letters and documents (1664-1674), to shed light on the Cartesian and scholarly environment that produced the two works. .
