"Where the Light Blinks: Exhibitions and Works 2003–1986" is the title of a volume that encompasses a period of Alfredo Pirri's work, tracing his creative journey backwards. A substantial number of images illustrate the artist's solo exhibitions, which are linked almost narratively, while images of individual works act as a "hinge" between one exhibition and the next. The chapters "On the Responsibility of Art" and "Comments" are composed of texts the artist has written over the years as an integral part of his practice, expressing his perspective on various occasions (conferences, interviews, public meetings). Critical essays, reviews, and theoretical texts complement and complete the book.
