Resulting from a research project divided into six ‘stages’, the book examines the oldest manuscripts kept in Florence. Forty-six manuscripts, some of which are very well-known (Ash, Po, Rb, etc.), have been thoroughly examined from a paleographical-codicological point of view as well as in a philological perspective.
