Questo libro analizza lo sviluppo del mito del Tibet e documenta importanti aspetti della cultura tibetana contemporanea. Esso è dedicato ai tibetani che hanno resistito all’occupazione cinese, ricostruendo i templi distrutti dalle Guardie rosse e mantenendo le loro tradizioni. I contributi in esso raccolti sono il frutto di ricerche sul campo svolte nel Tibet geo-culturale da studiosi, ricercatori e operatori italiani, il cui lavoro è scarsamente conosciuto in Italia. / This volume analyses the development of the myth of Tibet and documents important aspects of contemporary Tibetan culture. It is dedicated to those Tibetans who have resisted the Chinese occupation, by rebuilding the temples destroyed by the Red Guards and preserving their traditions. The contributions collected in this book are the result of field-work carried out by Italian scholars, researchers and project managers, whose work is hardly known in Italy.
