I personaggi sono accomunati da un destino beffardo che camuffato in sfortuna si diverte a giocare con le loro vite e a causare imprevisti che rendono le loro storie rocambolesche. Il finale è riservato a una storia macabra e tormentata di amore e morte che ci offre un finale a sorpresa che lascerà senza parole il lettore.
