Stefania Segatori examines Nievo's narrative by applying the latest methodological approaches of literary criticism, analysing strengths, formal constants and “structures significatives” of his artistic production. Segatori's PhD thesis, the base of this work, was awarded the recently established prize “Fondazione Ippolito e Stanislao Nievo 2011”.
