Abstract: La feconda corrispondenza tra il mathematicorum princeps dell'epoca, Leonhard Euler e il giovane matematico Lagrange sfociò in uno scambio di vedute su importanti temi di analisi, di meccanica, di teoria dei numeri e di fisica matematica, che culminarono in sei fondamentali lavori di Euler pubblicati nei Mélanges de philosophie et de mathématique dell'Accademia: essi sono oggi proposti in questa riedizione che vuole celebrare il matematico nel terzo centenario della nascita. The productive correspondence between Leonhard Euler, the most famous mathematician of the period, and the young mathematician Lagrange led to an exchange of views on important topics in analysis, mechanics, number theory and mathematical physics. This exchange culminated in six of Euler's fundamental works, published in the Academy's Mélanges de philosophie et de mathématique and presented in this new edition, celebrating the third centenary of the mathematician's birth.
