Ciò consente, in parte, anche di sopperire alle dolorose dispersioni avviate nella seconda metà dell’Ottocento e venire a conoscenza di parecchie decine di volumi (anche incunaboli ed edizioni manuziane di pregio) non più sugli scaffali. / This book focuses on the Library of Castel Thun, owned by the counts of Thun, one of the most influential families of the aristocracy of Trentino and Tyrol, reconstructing its centuries-old history. Not only it analyses the surviving collection, but thanks to the study of a rich archival documentation, it also tracks part of those books, many of which incunabula and prestigious Aldine editions, that went lost during the Nineteenth century.
