This collection of contributions describes the work already done and provides a textual-critical, historiographical and cultural perspective on future undertakings, seemingly focused on understanding the texts edited along with the cultural context in which the works themselves were conceived.

The lost manuscript finally reappears in this edition by Mario Bencivenni and Massimo de Vico Fallani. In the first of the six volumes, Pucci outlines for the first time in Italy a complete history of European and Italian gardens, illustrated by beautiful ancient photographs.
