I giardini di Firenze (The Gardens of Florence) was the last and most ambitious project by Angiolo Pucci, that remained unpublished after the author’s death. The lost manuscript finally reappears in this edition by Mario Bencivenni and Massimo de Vico Fallani. In the first of the six volumes, Pucci outlines for the first time in Italy a complete history of European and Italian gardens, illustrated by beautiful ancient photographs.
